The aim of The Grand Wine Tour is to bring together different experiences and tastes via the common thread of wine, and to welcome guests from all corners of the globe.
Initially set up as an online portal, via the collaboration of a group of specifically selected wineries including Podere Sapaio, The Grand Wine Tour’s subsequent partnership with Musement resulted in the creating of a veritable hub of ideas, suggestions and stories that guides visitors as they travel through our country, on a voyage of discovery.
The search for “beauty” is a key element in the evolution of wine tourism hence standards of hospitality and quality are of utmost importance.
It is not simply a matter of visiting a cellar or partaking in a wine tasting, but the chance to immerse oneself in a world in which pleasure and flavor are part of a broader experience of knowing.
On 30 March, Podere Sapaio took part in the presentation of the project at the Casa degli Atellani in Milan, set against the backdrop of none other than the charming La vigna di Leonardo, in which legends of the bonds between art and wine were recounted.
What better “port of call” at the beginning of this new journey!

The Grand Wine Tour è un progetto che ha lo scopo di unire esperienze e gusti diversi, per aprire le porte ad un pubblico internazionale, attraverso un unico filo conduttore: il vino.
Nato come portale on line e realizzato grazie alla volontà di un pool di cantine selezionate, fra cui Podere Sapaio, The Grand Wine Tour ha dato il via ad una partnership con Musement, realizzando un vero e proprio contenitore di idee, suggerimenti e racconti guida, alla scoperta del nostro Paese.
La ricerca del “bello” è la chiave di lettura attraverso cui si sta evolvendo il turismo enogastronomico ed è il motivo per cui accoglienza e qualità dagli standard, diventano d’importanza fondamentale.
Non una semplice visita o degustazione in cantina, ma un’immersione in un luogo dove il piacere, i profumi e i sapori diventano parte di un’esperienza più ampia di conoscenza.
Lo scorso 30 marzo Podere Sapaio ha partecipato alla presentazione del progetto presso la “Casa degli Atellani “di Milano, dove a fare da scenografia non poteva che esserci l’incanto de “La vigna di Leonardo”, intorno alla quale sono state narrate leggende che nei secoli hanno legato arte e vino.
