La mostra “Shine” di Palazzo Strozzi conquista Firenze (e Podere Sapaio) con le opere di un’artista che ha rivoluzionato il sistema dell’arte contemporanea.
Il 2 ottobre scorso a Palazzo Strozzi è stata inaugurata una delle mostre più attese degli ultimi tempi: “Shine” dell’artista Jeff Koons, una selezione unica ed esclusiva di opere conservate nei più prestigiosi musei del mondo. Per Podere Sapaio, che come è ormai noto ama l’arte in tutte le sue declinazioni, è stato un onore portare in tavola durante la Preview dedicata all’artista più pop del momento (eletto anche Uomo del Rinascimento 2022), un vino altrettanto pop, com’è il Volpolo 2019.
Siamo stati catapultati nel mondo “lucente” di Koons, abbiamo ammirato opere iconiche, “entrate nell’immaginario collettivo grazie alla capacità di unire cultura alta e popolare, dai raffinati riferimenti alla storia dell’arte alle citazioni del mondo del consumismo”.
Sculture innovative e installazioni che mirano a mettere in discussione il nostro rapporto con la realtà creando un dialogo fra reale e immaginario, permettendo di “rifletterci” su di esse e diventare parte dell’opera stessa.
Come afferma lo stesso Koons: “Il lavoro dell’artista consiste in un gesto con l’obiettivo di mostrare alle persone qual è il loro potenziale. Non si tratta di creare un oggetto o un’immagine; tutto avviene nella relazione con lo spettatore. È qui che avviene l’arte”.
La mostra di Koons a Palazzo Strozzi è andata ben oltre ogni aspettativa; il suo bagliore ha messo in luce la “visione democratica e dalle inesauribili potenzialità espressive che l’estetica pop sa trasmettere […] capace di plasmare con lega pressoché eterna le forme di consumo più effimero e dissimularne l’apparente inconsistenza con un’aura di preziosità (Artribune).
Il vino e l’arte sono più vicini di quanto si possa immaginare: entrambi animano il mondo e quando s’incontrano entrano in una sorta di simbiosi dalle forme uniche e inaspettate.
E per questo, ancora una volta per Podere Sapaio essere partner di una realtà preziosa e unica come Palazzo Strozzi, allarga la visione e arricchisce il pensiero.

Palazzo Strozzi’s “Shine” exhibition conquers Florence (and Podere Sapaio) with the works of an artist who has revolutionized contemporary art.
On 2 October, one of the most anticipated exhibitions of recent times was inaugurated at Palazzo Strozzi: “Shine” by the artist Jeff Koons, is a singular and exclusive selection of works from the most prestigious museums in the world.
Known for its love of art in all its forms, for Podere Sapaio, at this preview dedicated to the most ‘pop’ artist of the moment (also nominated Renaissance Man 2022), it was an honor to bring an equally popular wine, that of Volpolo 2019, to the table.
Catapulted into the “shining” world of Jeff Koons, we admired iconic works and “entered the collective imagination thanks to the ability to combine high and popular culture, from refined references to art history to quotes from the world of consumerism”.
Innovative sculptures and installations that call into question our relationship with reality by creating a dialogue between the real and the imaginary, allowing us to “reflect” on them and become part of the work itself.
As Koons himself states: “The work of an artist is a gesture aimed at showing people what their potential is. It is not about creating an object or an image; everything happens in the relationship with the viewer.“

Koons’ exhibition at Palazzo Strozzi went far beyond all expectations; leaving a glow that has shed light on the “democratic vision and the inexhaustible expressive potential that pop aesthetics can transmit […] capable of shaping the most ephemeral forms of consumption with an almost eternal alloy, and concealing their apparent inconsistency with an aura of preciousness (Artribune).
The world of wine and that of art are closer than one might imagine: both animate the world, and when they meet they create a sort of symbiosis with unique and unexpected forms.
And it is for this reason once again that being a partner of a precious and unique reality like Palazzo Strozzi widens our vision and enriches our thinking.
