In tempo di Covid, a Castagneto Carducci la natura dà spettacolo e lascia tutti a bocca aperta. Tra nuvole e cielo, cresce la vigna sospesa.

Osservare, riflettere, esplorare da dentro, stanze e di-stanze invisibili. Questo ha rappresentato il 2020 in quei giorni di lockdown che ci ha coinvolti tutti in un grande viaggio surreale.

Qui a Podere Sapaio, a smuovere l’atmosfera ovattata di quel periodo, ci ha pensato come sempre, l’istinto aleatorio di madre natura: artista sorprendente, che non si ferma di fronte a nulla quando si tratta di regalare emozioni. Lo ha fatto anche questa volta, lasciando tutti a bocca aperta. Mentre il mondo intorno sembrava caduto in un sonno profondo, lei ha continuato a creare bellezza, dando vita a una straordinaria magia.

È nata così la “vigna sospesa”. Si tratta di un’affascinante vecchia pianta di vite, che ha deciso di continuare la sua crescita, abbracciando i tre alberi che le stava accanto. Si è fatta forza su di un frassino, un sorbo e una quercia, e grazie a loro ha toccato il cielo. Ora basta alzare gli occhi per trovarsi di fronte a qualcosa di davvero surreale, un regalo per i nostri occhi e non solo, visto che lassù ci attendono almeno 80 kg di eccellente uva da vendemmiare.

The hanging vineyard. When the vine touches the sky.

In these times of Covid, nature puts on a show at Castagneto Carducci, and leaves us speechless. Between the clouds and sky, a hanging vineyard grows.

Observe, reflect, explore within, invisible rooms and distances. This 2020 was represented, in those days of lockdown which took us all on a long surreal journey.

When it came to lifting the subdued mood of that period here at Podere Sapaio, as always mother nature’s random instinct took care of things: an unpredicatable artist, who stops at nothing when it comes to providing excitement.

And she did it once again, leaving everyone speechless. As the world around her seemed to have fallen into a deep sleep, she continued to create beauty, giving life to extraordinary magic.

And so the “hanging vineyard” came to be.

This fascinating old vine plant decided to continue growing, embracing the three trees surrounding it. It drew strength from an ash tree, a mountain ash, and an oak, thanks to who it was able to touch the sky. Now all you have to do is look up to find yourself in front of something truly surreal, a gift for your eyes and beyond, given that up there, at least 80kg of excellent grapes are waiting to be harvested.
